Crafted from 18-carat white gold, this emblematic watch boasts a sporty yet elegant design in understated colors. It features a black Cerachrom bezel edged with a slender white gold rim. The Swiss watchmaker plays a leading role in developing special ceramics for creating monobloc bezels and independently produces its ceramic components. This material offers numerous benefits, including scratch resistance and colorfastness.
The tachymetric scale's graduations and numbers are recessed and colored with platinum using a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process. A special nod to the event's centenary is the number 100, filled with red ceramic, prominently placed on the tachymetric scale.
The Oyster case, measuring 40 mm in diameter and water-resistant to 100 meters (significantly improved over its predecessors), features a transparent back that showcases the movement's details and rotations. The watch is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. This exclusive model is powered by the 4132 caliber, entirely designed and developed by Rolex, and derived from the 4131 caliber.
